Our Mission

Through relationship-building, education, skill development, and coaching, DMSC provides a positive, fun soccer experience and gives all players, families, and community members the opportunity to realize their potential on and off the pitch.

Club Overview

We believe in making soccer accessible to every child who wants to play. We believe in having fun, working hard, being respectful, being good teammates, and striving to win. However, we will never place winning above doing the right thing. What we value is character, hard work, composure and love of the game. We believe in learning to win with humility and learning to lose with dignity. We believe in the complete child.

At the Des Moines Soccer Club, our goal is to reduce barriers to participation for all members of our community. Our NCP, Inc. Financial Assistance Program helps to make this possible. We offer the full suite of youth soccer experiences from the kickstart program for our youngest players, to select level teams at the high school ages, and everything in between. We provide recreational soccer to every age player who chooses that experience, we provide Academy level training at the 9U/10U ages, and offer the opportunity to try out for select teams for 11U-High School aged players.

Our Badge

The DMSC badge draws both its color scheme and its inner design motif from the Des Moines city flag. The roundel design format is a timeless treatment reminiscent of some of the greatest clubs in world soccer such as Bayern Munich, Ajax, and Portland Thorns FC. The two stars represent the two clubs from which we were formed, Soccer South and Soccer West.
