CURRENT RECREATIONAL REFEREES
Check your schedule at www.arbitersports.com.
Be aware of the new requirements for recertification for 2020. You need to set up a new U.S. Soccer Learning Center Account, get a background check (if you are over 18) and undergo multiple online training modules. The recertification period is now open. Look for the emails from Chip Walaska with the specific instructions, or visit www.iowasoccer.org/recertification__registration/.
BECOME A RECREATIONAL REFEREE
If you are 13 years old or older, you could earn money by becoming a certified referee. Des Moines Soccer Club needs you!
Sign up for a Referee Training Course. Find entry level courses at www.iowasoccer.org/events/summary/?F_c=1556.
Once you have taken and passed the course, email the Director of Referees.
If you are the referee for 3 or more DMSC games each season in a calendar year, your certification or recertification cost will be refunded to you by DMSC.
